Graphic designer and artist Sia Yek Chung was born in 1972 in Sarawak. He was the best student, while studying in the Chinese School of Art. In 1993 he received his first award from the state of the art center in the competition. In 2004, he received the annual state prize of the Art Center in the open category D.
